Service provider workshops

In collaboration with the NSW Cervical Screening Program, Family Planning NSW offers training courses and workshops for General Practitioners (GPs) and Practice Nurses to assist with increasing their skills and confidence in performing Pap tests and other women’s health screening checks.

Cervical Screening Upskilling for GPs

This is a 3 hour workshop that combines a lecture / discussion of new Pap test technologies, current National Health and Medical Research Council guidelines and HPV vaccination, practice on pelvic models and individual sessions with a practice patient to help GPs refresh and improve their skills.

Accredited for 6 Category 2 RACGP QA and CPD points

Well Women's Screening Course (Nursing)
