The Cancer Institute NSW is one of the biggest funders of cancer research in the state. In particular, we focus on supporting translational cancer research. This is termed ‘from bench to bedside.’
Translational cancer research aims to ‘translate’ research findings from the lab into medical practice in a way that has an immediate impact on cancer treatment and outcomes.
