Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) is a type of blood cancer.
The lymphatic system is part of the immune system. It contains specialised white blood cells called lymphocytes that help to protect the body from infection and disease.
There are many different types of NHL that come from abnormalities in different types of white blood cells.
