Penile cancer

Types of treatment star_border Save this page

Treatments for penile cancer can include:

  • surgery
  • radiation therapy (radiotherapy)
  • chemotherapy.

Most men with penile cancer have one or more of these treatments. Not all treatments are required for every man or every type of penile cancer.

Some very early stage cancers, known as Stage 0 or carcinoma in situ, may be treated with creams containing anticancer drugs.
