Mr Yeung is the President of CanRevive Incorporated
Eric Yeung is the President of CanRevive Incorporated, Australia's first and one of the largest community support organisations for Chinese-speaking people affected by cancer and their caregivers. Under his leadership since 2017, CanRevive has developed comprehensive programs that support cancer patients and their families throughout their entire cancer journey, from diagnosis through treatment, survivorship, palliative care, and bereavement support. A passionate advocate for culturally responsive cancer care, Eric brings both professional expertise and personal insight as someone with lived experience as a primary carer for his wife. His commitment to improving cancer outcomes for culturally and linguistically diverse communities since CanRevive’s inception 30 years ago is evident through his extensive involvement in cancer research and governance.
Eric serves as a community and consumer representative on the NSW Cancer Plan Advisory Committee and holds key advisory positions with the Primary Care Collaborative Cancer Clinical Trials Group and the Australian Centre for Cancer Equity. He has contributed to numerous NHMRC, MRFF, Cancer Australia, and Cancer Institute NSW-funded research projects as both chief investigator and consumer representative. Eric has fostered vital collaborations between healthcare institutions, community organisations, and government agencies, ensuring that culturally and linguistically diverse communities receive equitable, accessible, and culturally safe cancer care. Eric embodies CanRevive’s vision that ‘No one should face cancer alone’ and its focus on the three ‘R’s’ of helping people affected by cancer to regain confidence, restore hope and to rebuild life.
