Cancer Genetics Counselling Services
Cancer Genetics Services (also known as Family Cancer Services or Hereditary Cancer Clinics) provide genetic counselling for people with a family history of cancer, and are available at services around Australia.
Genetic testing may be available for some families. Your local Cancer Genetics Service can provide you with information about genetic testing and other issues regarding hereditary cancer.
Medicare usually covers the cost of these services.
