RBCO reports
RBCO is continuously evolving to refine processes and enhance the quality and relevance of its reports. Health services may have noticed updates in how the Cancer Institute NSW presents and displays data, reflecting ongoing improvements to better align with evolving priorities. These enhancements ensure the Institute continues to deliver impactful and actionable insights.
Types of RBCO reports
The suite of RBCO reports are developed for the cancer health system and are accessible through the RBCO document portal. The Cancer Institute NSW also produces a statewide report and an Aboriginal People in NSW report, which are publicly available.

Access to RBCO reports is managed through the RBCO Document Portal:
https://www.cancer.nsw.gov.au/rbco/reports. Access is restricted to registered users based on their specific health service.
Publicly available reports
Two RBCO reports are available to the public:
- Annual Statewide Report: since 2014, the annual Statewide report highlights the current state of cancer care and outlines initiatives aimed at improving experiences and outcomes of people affected by cancer.
- Aboriginal people in NSW report: developed in partnership with the Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council (AH&MRC), this report explores explores cancer prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, patient-reported measures, and clinical trial indicators.
