Aboriginal people with colorectal cancer had poorer survival rates than non-Aboriginal people in NSW, although rates of surgical treatment, complications and follow-up colonoscopy were similar.

Cancer survival in New South Wales, Australia: socioeconomic disparities remain despite overall impr

Differences in cancer survival by socioeconomic status have not reduced despite increases in overall cancer survival in NSW. About 13.4% of cancer deaths could have been postponed if this socioeconomic disparity was eliminated.

Breast cancer recurrence following active treatment: determining its incidence in the NSW population
A cohort of women in NSW had an annual recurrence rate of 3.3% for the period 18 months to 6 years after diagnosis of primary breast cancer. The study identifies factors associated with a higher incidence of recurrence.
