We are proud to recognise the Zero Childhood Cancer Program for delivering Australia’s first precision medicine program for children with cancer.

Winner of the 2024 Cancer Control Innovation Award

The Zero Childhood Cancer Program has been commended for bringing together clinicians from child cancer treatment centres across the country and leading national research partners. This groundbreaking and world-renowned program was only previously available to children in NSW with high-risk or relapsed cancer.

Involving all paediatric oncology units across Australia, as well as 19 national and international research partners, ZERO brings together leading clinicians and researchers around Australia and internationally, embracing research-driven clinical care to achieve better outcomes for children with cancer, now and into the future.
