NSW Cancer Registry: What we found - Efficiency

Prior to ePath, effort, time and staff were required to gather missing information by making manual Central Cancer Registry (CCR) requests. Further manual effort was required by the facilities to respond to these requests and to receive and process the requests back into the patient folder. Between 2012 and 2021, manual requests decreased by 90%, allowing staff to redirect their specialist skills, expertise and time to other Registry activities (see Figure 8).
